I’m Tyler, but if you’re reading this early, you likely won’t need an introduction. With some amount of grit, this post will be buried before *too* long.
So, why are we here? This blog serves as my outlet for anything fitness-related with a single goal in mind: Simplify Fitness.
Learning is the path to mastery, and mastery is obtainable by anyone who will continue to learn. Here, I hope to provide a path to mastery to anyone listening.
Give a man a weight, he may pick it up twice. Give him a plan along with it, he may wield it for a month. Show him what he can do with it, and he may never put it down.
You’ll find me saying “churn the butter” throughout these blogs - this comes from my old college roommate who got me working out in 2018. In reference to George Washington Carver (the man credited with the invention of peanut butter), it was a goofy saying that semi-accidentally evolved into a lifting philosophy.
Sure, there are many methods to making peanut butter, some better than others. But the base recipe has one ingredient, and regardless of who makes it, the most critical step is the same. Fitness is no different. No philosophy, science, plan, hack, or dream will bring you results without the consistent effort. So for anyone seeking fitness, and maybe a philosophy for life, my call is the same:
Let’s churn some butter
